.. Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 3rd respondent and his subordinates, not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and to follow the due process of law.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent and his subordinates, not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents and perused the records available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), would submit that the petitioner was only called for enquiry with regard to a complaint pending against him and after completion of investigation, the petition enquiry has been closed on 24.11.2016. He would further submit that since the petition enquiry has been closed, the petitioner's appearance is not at all required by the respondent Police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioner. He also produced a copy of the closure report before the Court.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
