Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's husband passed away on 09.01.2006. The petitioner's daughter was given in marriage on 05.06.2020. The petitioner sought assistance from the Government under E.V.R. Maniammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme for Daughters of Poor Widows. The petitioner's application has not yet been processed.

3.The second respondent is directed to process the petitioner's application and if it is found that the petitioner is eligible, financial assistance shall be disbursed without delay to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
