This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection based on the petitioner representation, dated 19.01.2024 in CSR No.14 of 2024. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation seeking police protection was closed after conducting an enquiry. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3.Since the main representation itself was closed after enquiry, no further orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, this petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 1st respondent under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
