Today, Mr.G.Sundaramoorthy, Sub-Inspector of Police, B4 Thachanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli City, is present in Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.196 of 2016 was completed and the case was closed as mistake of fact by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Tirunelveli Town Sub-Division, Tirunelveli City, on 09.08.2016. However, on the orders of the District Collector dated 19.12.2016, reinvestigation of the case is being done by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Tirunelveli Town SubDivision, Tirunelveli City.

2. Recording the same, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Tirunelveli Town Sub-Division, Tirunelveli City, is directed to expeditiously conduct re-investigation in Crime No.196 of 2016 and either close the case or take action in accordance with law under due intimation to the defacto complainant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
