ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to commence the investigation and file final report in Crime No.212 of 2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a five months from the date of registration of the case, the 2nd respondent did not take any efforts to file final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the second respondent requires six months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.212 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.212 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
