The petitioner seeks production of his daughter Keerthana, aged 19 years.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, the detenue went missing on 21.03.2022 and an FIR was lodged in Crime No.40 of 2022, dated 23.03.2022 by the Respondent Police. Complaining inaction on the part of the respondent Police, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that it is a love affair and a case of elopement. The detenue has been secured and stated that she has got married to one Senathipathi. The marriage photograph has also been produced. The statement of the detenue has also been recorded by the Police, wherein, she has stated that she has married the said Senathipathi and she wants to live with him. In view of the same, the Police has dropped the case registered as "Woman Missing"
