Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner had surrendered her Indian Passport on 04.04.2016. Rejection was made by the respondent. The petitioner wants an endorsement of surrender. Since this request was not considered, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. It is not in dispute that the petitioner is a French citizen. She is holding French passport. I wanted to know when the petitioner became a French citizen. It is not in dispute that the petitioner became French citizen on 14.04.2021. The petitioner obtained Indian passport on 08.07.2013. After renouncing Indian citizenship and as French citizen, the petitioner could not have obtained Indian passport. Such passport was rightly revoked. The question of surrender will not arise at all. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
