ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take appropriate action against the accused persons on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2026 and 20.01.2026 and consequently direct the respondents to freeze the bank accounts of the accused persons and their associates, to prevent diversion of the cheated amount and to secure recovery of the petitioner's money.
2. Heard the learned counsel on both side.
3. The petitioners' complaint has been taken on file and the same has been processed. The specific contention of the petitioner is that the proposed accused's bank account should be freezed. The said 2/4
plea comes within the purview of the Investigation Officer. Therefore, this Court, without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the respondents to consider the petitioners complaint dated 13.01.2026 and 20.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. If any cognizable offence is made out and if the freezing of bank account is necessary, the same may be acted on by the respondent police.
4. With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
