ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. This Court had an interaction with Thiru.Selvam, President of the festival committee. The jurisdictional police facilitated the same through whatsapp video call. The petitioner's only grievance is that there is a proposal to confer special respect and honour on certain persons. When this Court posed a specific question, it was clarified by the festival committee president that no honour or special respect will be given to any person. Everyone can participate in the festival. It is directed that no person shall be given special respect or honour in connection with the petition mentioned festival. 2/4

3. Recording the stand of the respondents, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
