ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 27.12.2024 to give effect to the suggested alternative route for laying the channel
via S.Nos.711, 717, 725, 726, 727, 729 & 730 in Sooriyur Village, Thiruverambur Taluk, is kept pending till date without any progress. Therefore, he has filed this Writ Petition.
3.After perusal of the records, it is seen that already the process of constructing canal from the Cauvery to the Vaigai and the Gundar is in progress and the 1st respondent has also issued various Government Orders to execute the project of linking rivers. Now, the petitioner has suggested alternative route for the same, which cannot be entertained at present and this Court is of the view that at this stage, if any order is passed by this Court, it would definitely stall the project. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
