Today, Mr.M.Selvaraj, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Sankarankovil Town Police Station, Tirunelveli District, is present. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that there is a dispute between two groups of the same community with regard to certain issues and that a petition enquiry was conducted, in which, this petitioner also gave a statement. At the conclusion of enquiry, both parties agreed to resolve the dispute through the Civil Court. After obtaining the undertaking from them, the petition enquiry has been closed. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
