PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 3rd respondent to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner based on the complaint dated 16.03.2022 within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. For Petitioner : Mr.C.R.Ponnuthai For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi No.1 to 3 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the third respondent to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner based on the complaint dated 16.03.2022 within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has lodged two complaint in CSR No.14 of 2022 and CSR No.21 of 2022 before the third respondent and the same were closed on 24.01.2022 and 02.02.2022.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint for fresh cause of action if any.
