ORDER
The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass an order upon the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2018 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. I have heard Mr.N.Sankar Ganesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.Porkodi Karnan, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, even though his junior is getting a higher pay, the petitioner's pay disparity is yet to be resolved and in this regard, even though, on 11.01.2018, the petitioner submitted his representation to the respondents, so far no action has been taken by the respondents.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, if a direction is given by this Court to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders thereon on merits, within the time stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.
5. Ms.Porkodi Karnan, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that, within a time period of eight weeks, the said representation of the petitioner would be considered and an order to that effect would be passed.
6. Considering the said submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents and with the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the admission stage itself with the following direction:- "that the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2018 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
However, there shall be no order as to costs.
