When the matter was taken up for hearing, M/s.K.Umadevi, Sub-Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Samayanallur, is present in Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.38 of 2016 has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact on 12.10.2016. A copy of the closure report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to file a closure report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Jurisdictional Magistrate in accordance with law.
