ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Accident Relief Fund to the petitioner, by considering her representation dated 04.03.2020.

2.According to the petitioner, her husband died in an accident in the year 2008. Her son viz., Chinnachamy, aged 35 years, who was working as a Mason, also died in an accident, pursuant to which, a case in Crime No.64 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 279 and 337 of I.P.C., has been registered on 29.01.2020. After the demise of her son, the petitioner has been facing more difficulties for her medical expenses. Under the said circumstances, the petitioner gave a representation on 04.03.2020 to the respondents seeking to provide the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Accident Relief Fund to her. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent would consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that, the petitioner shall forward a copy of the representation along with the copy of this order passed by this Court to the first respondent, to enable him to comply with the directions of this Court, within the stipulated period. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
