When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petition mentioned representation would be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. Recording the said submission, the Writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other. No costs.
