O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the lands belongs to the petitioner in S.No.71/47, situated at Puliyadi, No.71, Melaiyur Circle, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's online application dated 21.11.2025.

2. The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 21.11.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 21.11.2025, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
