Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for entire records pertaining to O.Mu.No.A2/2774/2018 dated 08.06.2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to provide the legal heir certificate to the petitioner, his wife along with his grandson as legal heirs of the deceased son of the petitioner, namely, Venkatesan.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's son died on 03.10.2012. The petitioner seeks issuance of Legal Heir Certificate. This request cannot be objected. The respondent is directed to hold an enquiry and issue Legal Heir Certificate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
