This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the Adal Padal Programme to be held on 12.05.2018 at 07.00 P.M to 11.00 P.M in the eve of "Saint Antony Temple Rath Procession Festival" at Melapatti, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the representation dated 25.04.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, the representation dated 25.04.2018, has been submitted by the petitioner in his individual capacity and therefore, this Court cannot entertain this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if any representation is made either by a member of Vizha Kuzhu or the Trustee or the organization, the same shall be considered by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law.
