ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.1611 of 2023 and complete the trial.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the de facto complainant in this case and based on the complaint a case in Crime No.11 of 2021 has been registered for the offences under Sections 420, 448, 465, 468, 471, 120(B) and 506(1) of IPC and thereafter, the respondent conducted investigation and filed final report. Now the same is pending in C.C.No.1611 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai. So far no trial has been commenced. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition to complete the trial within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, they registered a case in Crime No.11 of 2021 and thereafter, they filed final report and based on the final report, the Trial Court has taken cognizance in 2/5
C.C.No.1611 of 2023 and the same is pending. Now one of the accused filed discharge petition and the same is pending for consideration. Therefore, the respondent will cooperate for speedy disposal by producing the witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.

Since the case is pending from 2021 onwards and now the case is posted for consideration of discharge application filed by one of the accused, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai to complete the trial proceedings and dispose of this case in C.C.No.1611 of 2023 as early as possible without giving any long adjournment beyond 15 days.
5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
