Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner filed a protest petition before the second respondent. He wanted the registration authority not to register the document in question of the private respondents. This was returned by the second respondent and the petitioner was called upon to produce documents such as patta. Challenging the stand of the second respondent, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. The petitioner has not brought to my attention to any relevant statutory provision under which the protest petition is filed. He has also not produced any patta in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the jurisdictional civil Court for appropriate relief. Granting such 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.5918 OF 2022 liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. No costs.
