: Respondents Prayer:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the second respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 02.03.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.J.Lawrance For Respondents 1&2 : Mr.K.Anbarasan, Government Advocate (Crl.side) ********** COMMON ORDER When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Selvaraj, Sub-Inspector of Police, Reddiyarchathiram Police Station, is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), submitted that on the complaint given by Ayyappan [Petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2951 of 2017], a petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.37 of 2017. Similarly, on the complaint given by Balamurugan [Petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2954 of 2017], a petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.38 of 2017.

2. In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct enquiry in C.S.R.Nos.37 and 38 of 2017 respectively, by calling both the parties and take action in accordance with law.

3. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
