O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the complaint, dated 27.01.2018 and take action against the offender. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a matrimonial dispute pending between him and his wife G.Padmavathi. His wife is working in Punjab National Bank, Thirupathur Branch and she filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.227 of 2016 on the file of the Sub-Court, Kovilpatti. During the pendency of the said H.M.O.P., she has also filed a petition in I.A.No.44 of 2017 in H.M.O.P.No.227 of 2016 seeking interim alimony. On 07.12.2017, the petitioner's wife has submitted four documents of the petitioner, including a set of petitioner's credit score reports. The petitioner came to know that she has used her position in her bank to get the private details of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a complaint before the respondents police. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's complaint, the petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint is pending for enquiry.

conduct the enquiry in accordance with law. In conducting the preliminary enquiry, the second respondent shall put the concerned parties upon notice. At the end thereof, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent shall duly register a case and proceed with the same in accordance with law, otherwise, further proceedings shall be dropped. In the event of effecting closure of the case upon conducting a petition enquiry, a copy of the closure report shall be forwarded to the complainant. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
