ORDER

It is a petition seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been quite often called to the police station in the name of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that a case in Crime No.158/2016 has been registered originally under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Subsequently, it was altered into under Section 302 and 120(B) IPC, in which, this petitioner has been arrayed as A5.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged occurrence, in which, the deceased, who is the neighbour, has given a statement saying that her husband set her on fire.

6. Under such circumstances, if the presence of the petitioner is required, the 2nd respondent shall issue summons giving specific date, time and place and on receipt of such summons, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
