Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to produce the body or person of the detenu namely Abbas S/o.Noormohammed aged about 21 years from the illegal custody before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to produce the detenu by name Abbas, son of the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.10 of 2015, Malayur Police Station, registered under Section 380 of the Indian Penal code and in support of the contention made on the side of the respondents, a certified copy of the remand report has been filed, wherein it has been clearly stated that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with the crime number mentioned supra. Under the said circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.

3. In fine, this Habeas Corpus petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
