O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner had produced a copy of the communication dated 31.05.2017 issued by the Superintendent of Police, Kanyakumari District, stating that there is no adverse remarks against the petitioner and that they have no objection for granting passport to the petitioner herein.

2. In the light of the report of the Superintendent of Police, dated 03.05.2017, stating that there is no adverse remarks against the petitioner herein, the learned counsel for the first respondent seeks further time to verify if there are any adverse remarks as against the petitioner herein.

3.In the result, the petitioner is permitted to furnish a copy of the communication dated 03.05.2017 to the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to issue passport to the petitioner, within two weeks from the date of receipt of such communication. While processing the application, the second and third respondents shall also have liberty to seek for further remarks from the police department, if they are advised to do so.
