Heard both sides.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the impugned land was assigned in favour of his wife and that it was wrongly reclassified during UDR. To correct the said mistake, the petitioner has been sending representations repeatedly.

3. It is well settled that there is no limitation for correcting UDR error and the District Revenue Officer is the authority competent to do so. The first respondent is directed to pass order on the representation dated 07.01.2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till final order is passed on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner's enjoyment of the petition mentioned land shall not be interfered with. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
