ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the "Adal Padal" programme on 12.04.2023 at 06.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m in connection with "Thiru Vizha" of Arulmigu Sri Chellayiamman Thirukovil at Gundur Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk,

2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that because of some rivalry between the two groups, FIRs have been registered and also submitted that if permission is granted, it will create a law and order problem. He further submitted that the second respondent has received the representation of the writ petitioner and the same is pending for consideration before the concerned competent authority.

4. Considering the above submission, the concerned Competent Authority shall send a summon to the petitioner and the rivallry party and to ascertain the ground situation. Depending upon the outcome of the situation, the above said representation may be considered by the competent authority on its own merits within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 15.03.2023 NCC :
