This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take appropriate action to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of the land, comprised in Survey No.39/2 to an extent of 2.67 acres, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2026.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner has purchased the said land along with two others, namely, Vadivel and Sasikumar. However, the petitioner is now seeking patta for himself. Therefore, the respondents has objected the same.

3. In view of the above submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner, namely, S.Thangadurai and the co-purchasers, namely, Vadivel and Sasikumar.
