O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner has come forward with this petition alleging that one Mr.Dineshkumar and V.Pandimeena, D/o.Vinoth Pandi, aged 23 years and 19 years respectively, have been illegally detained by the respondents 3 and 4.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 16.09.2015, the detenus viz., Dineshkumar and Pandimeena made appearance, but the learned counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner were not present. Therefore the matter was adjourned to today. Today when the matter was taken up, the detenues- Dineshkumar and Pandimeena made appearance. petitioner were also present. The petitioner has no dispute regarding their identity. The Inspector of Police, who appeared before this Court, also has no dispute regarding the identity of the parties.

3. On enquiry, the detenues stated that they fell in love with each other and married on 24.08.2015 at Pandi Kovil, Madurai and now they are residing at Coimbatore as husband and wife. The said statement is recorded. The second respondent - Inspector of Police stated that on the complaint made by the mother of the detenue - V.Pandimeena, a case has been registered in Crime No. 410 of 2015 under Section 366 IPC.

4. Since, it is stated to this Court that there is no illegal detention and both are majors, we find no scope to issue any direction as prayed for. The Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous and accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous, leaving it open for V.Pandimeena and Dineshkumar to choose their own way of life.
