Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu namely Ellakkya, D/o.Rengasamy, aged about 24 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the husband of one Illakiya, D/o.Rengasamy, aged about 24 years. She is an M.B.A. Graduate. According to the petitioner, she has been illegaly detained by somebody.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the petitioner was not present, neither was there any representation for him. The detenue has been produced by the second respondent. The detenue, on enquiry, stated that she has not been detained by anybody and she has been all along with her parents. She has filed a case of divorce also against the petitioner. The said submission is recorded. She wants to go back with her parents and her parents also present before this Court.

Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (RTI) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District.
