: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records in connection with the detention order passed in D.No.66/BCDFGISSSV/2015, dated 05.08.2015, on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son namely K.Thangam @ Tsunami Thangam S/o.Ganesan, aged 28 years, who is detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison, Tirunelveli before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. *********** [Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous, as the order of detention challenged therein has been revoked by the Government. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.A.Ramar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the Government Order containing the revocation order. The revocation order came to be passed in G.O.Rt.No.5978, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 21.09.2015.

3. As the order of detention has been revoked, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
