Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family to live in Survey No.263, New Survey No.263/1 in Patta No.1347 to an extent of 2 acres and 64 cents by putting fence over the four boundaries and other properties described in the sale deed.

O R D E R

This petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to give police protection to the life of the petitioner and his family members.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that originally the petition was given to the second respondent, Inspector of Police, Ambathurai Police Station, Dindigul District and it was forwarded to the 4th respondent, Inspector of Police, Ammayanakanur Police Station, Dindigul District; so far he was not received any petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is ready to give a fresh representation to the Inspector of Police, Ammayanaickanur Police Station, Dindigul District and it can be considered.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances, if any representation is given by the petitioner, the 4th respondent, the Inspector of Police, Ammayanakanur Police Station, shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
