ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the third Respondent to consider the petitioner complaint dated 03.02.2026 and take appropriate action against the fourth Respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a complaint on 03.02.2026 before the third respondent police seeking action against the fourth respondent due to the matrimonial dispute arisen between them. Since the same was not considered, this Writ Petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that already an enquiry was conducted and petitioner's complaint is closed on the basis of the social welfare report.

4. It is made clear that the report of the social welfare officer cannot be a conclusive evidence for commission of any offence. In view of the same, the third respondent police is directed to reopen the enquiry, put the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent on notice under Section 64 of BNSS and conduct a discreet enquiry and conclude the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
