PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents herein to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original document No.209/2011 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Ponnamaravathi, Pudukkottai District and fixed stipulated time. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents herein to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original document No.209/2011 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Ponnamaravathi, Pudukkottai District.

2.The petitioner has owned a property registered as Document No.209 of 2011. On 14.03.2022, the petitioner kept the document in his two-wheeler and thereafter, it was found missing. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 17.03.2022. However, the second respondent refused to issue any non-traceable certificate.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6064 of 2022 3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to make a paper publication and produce the same before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to follow due procedure and issue non-traceable certificate to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. It is also made clear that the second respondent himself should ensure that the said document was not deposited by the petitioner for any other purpose. 4.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
