O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the lands comprised in Survey No.1272/2A having an extent of 1.1.50 Hec, 1272/3 having an extent of 0.16.20 Hec, 1274/2A having an extent of 2.84.50 Hec and 1274/2B having an extent of 0.7.00 at R.Pudukottai Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's application dated 30.01.2026.

The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 30.01.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 30.01.2026, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.01.2026 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
