ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of passport.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent pointed out that C.C.No.255 of 2016 is pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur.

4. Therefore, the petitioner has to approach the said Criminal Court for obtaining permission to travel abroad. The respondent shall pass orders on the petitioner's application based on the order to be passed by the jurisdictional Criminal Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With this liberty, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
