Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.1,66,65,070/- alone in 10 equal monthly installments along with the regular current consumption charges.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to pay the additional security deposit of Rs.19,30,305/-alone in 10 equal monthly instalments along with the regular current consumption charges.

Mr.Kasinathadurai (in all W.Ps) Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER Since the reliefs sought for in all the writ petitions are identical in nature, they have been clubbed and heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.
2. Mr.Kasinathadurai, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents in all the writ petitions.
3. By consent of both parties, all these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. Today (i.e.28.04.2018) when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondents are willing to permit the petitioners to pay the additional security deposits in six equal monthly installments instead of ten equal monthly installments as sought for by the petitioners.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners do not have any objection, if their request for ten equal monthly installments is reduced to six equal monthly installments.
6. Recording the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the petitioners are granted liberty to remit the additional security deposits in six monthly installments commencing from 15.05.2018 on equal monthly rests.
7. With the above observations, all these writ petitions are allowed. No costs.
