ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This petition has been filed seeking production of one Mrs.Ramu @ Ramalakshmi, aged about 31 years, who has been found missing from 20.09.2013. Since the woman was not secured by the Inspector of Police, who was investigating the case, this Court, by order dated 06.08.2015, transferred the investigation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Sivagangai District. He has filed a status report. He has stated that he is doing the investigation in the right direction and he will take all out efforts to locate the missing woman. 2.In our considered view, since it is not a case of any illegal detention and since the investigation is in the right direction, there is no scope to issue any further direction in this matter, except issuing a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Sivagangai District to expedite the investigation and trace out the missing woman forthwith.

3.With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
