ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's complaints dated 27.10.2016, 20.04.2017 and 23.01.2018 within a time frame.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Ms.L.Jothimani is working as an Assistant Executive Engineer in Public Works Department at Palani and when she was working in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Vaippar Basic Circle, Virudhunagar, she was put to several harassments by the then Special Chief Engineer one O.Chandra Mohan and Deputy Superintending Engineer one P.Muthusamy Kumar with the support of their three subordinate Engineers. In these circumstances, the said L.Jothimani https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
has given complaint to her superior officers, however no action was taken against the above concerned persons. Therefore, the petitioner made a complaint to the respondent on 27.10.2016 requesting them to take necessary action against the officials, who subjected his daughter to harassments.
3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has also sent two more representations on 20.04.2017 and 23.01.2018, however the said complaints were not considered by the respondent so far.
4. Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned Counsel taking notice on behalf of the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's complaints and pass orders within a time frame in accordance with law.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, we direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's complaints dated 27.10.2016, 20.04.2017 and 23.01.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to all the interested parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
