O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 09.01.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, a complaint has been lodged against the proposed accused for misappropriation of a sum of Rs.1,80,000/- from the petitioner's Company. The said complaint was enquired and the proposed accused has given undertaking to settle the said amount to the petitioner. Inspite of the assurance given before the respondent police, so far, the proposed accused did not settle the amount. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that the enquiry was conducted and thereafter, the said complaint was closed. He further submitted that if at all the petitioner is having any grievance, he would approach the appropriate authority by way of lodging fresh complaint. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
