Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records relating to the detention order of the second respondent in P.D.No.49/2015, dated 06.09.2015 and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner viz., Manoharan S/o.Govindarasu, male, aged 35 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. *********** [Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous, as the order of detention challenged herein has been revoked by the Government. 2.Mr.A.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the Government Order containing the revocation order. The revocation order came to be passed in G.O.Rt.No.6556, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 16.10.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. As the order of detention has been revoked, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
