ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to restore the complaint registered in C.S.R. No.756 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police station, which is closed by his office under the 1/4
classification of an 'Action Dropped' and consequently direct the respondents to take further action after conducting a proper enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.09.2025 & 05.10.2025, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents had conducted an enquiry and, since it was a money dispute, the same was closed. But the petitioners submitted that the proposed accused had cheated the petitioner.
3. Hence, the respondent police are directed to reopen the petitioner's complaint and conduct an enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police shall register a case in accordance with law.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall b no order as to costs.
