Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry under Section 68(2) of the Registration Act, 1908 and to make necessary entry in the index in the light of circular in Letter No.2021/U1/2021 dated 09.07.2021 issued by the first respondent and not to entertain any document through the earlier document.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents. 2.Though the writ prayer has been carefully couched, in effect the petitioner seeks enquiry only under Section 77A of the Registration Act, 1908. The second respondent shall keep the complaint on pending. 2/4

Based on the decision to be rendered by the Larger Bench on the scope and applicability of Section 77-A of the Registration Act, 1908, the second respondent shall take a call.

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
