(In Crime No.73/2013) : Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime NO.73 of 2013 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police and to lay the final report within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition, praying to direct respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.73/2013, dated 05.09.2013 and file the final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.The Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that final report will be filed within a period of four months. 4.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), I am inclined to direct the respondent to investigate the matter and to file the final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
