ORDER

This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission, after considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the official respondents. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 3 on 25.02.2022 with a request to issue house tax receipt for the land in S.No.190/3 situated at Mapplillaiurani Village, Thoothukudi. 3.The learned counsel for the official respondents submits that the house tax receipt cannot be issued for a vacant site and therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.5940 of 2022 4.The petitioner has not clearly stated in the affidavit whether a super structure exists on the aforesaid building or not though the learned counsel for the official respondents submits that there is a super structure.

5.Considering the above, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2022 and pass appropriate orders, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.255, Village Panchayat Building Rules dated 18.08.1999, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after causing a verification at the place.

6.The writ petition stands disposed of, in terms of the above observation. No costs.
