This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned order passed by the 2nd in Na.Ka.No.1006/E1/2025 dated 10.02.2025 and seeking for a consequential direction directing the 2nd respondent to amend the name of the Petitioner's Association as Tamilnadu Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam based on the application given by the Petitioner's Association dated 30.09.2024.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner claims to be the Secretary of the "Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam" attempted to amend its name to " Tamilnadu Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam". The said amendment was refused through the impugned order stating that there is a registration of 2/6

an association in the similar name as "Tamilnadu Ex.CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) Members Welfare Association. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that if the petitioner is filed a fresh application by changing its name, the same will be considered.

4. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will file a fresh application in the name of "Tamilnadu Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam (Madurai South)".

5. Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh application seeking to amend its name to "Tamilnadu Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam (Madurai South)". After receipt of the said application, the respondents are directed to consider the same and amend the name of the petitioner's association as "Tamilnadu Munnal CISF Thunai Ranuvapadai Veerargal Nala Sangam (Madurai South)".

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
