: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in No.125/BCDFGISSSV/2015 dated 16.09.2015 and Quash the same and direct the Respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Sathishkumar @ Thalambu Sathish S/o.Vijayakumar aged about 28 years now detained at Madurai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty, forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous, as the order of detention challenged therein has been revoked by the Government. 2.Mr.A.Ramar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the Government Order containing the revocation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
order. The revocation order came to be passed in G.O.Rt.No.7035, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 09.11.2015.
3. As the order of detention has been revoked, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
