PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent herein to initiate action against the named accused in the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 and to give police protection to the life and property to the petitioner and his family members against unlawful elements. For Petitioner : Mr.N.Marimuthu For Respondents : Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to initiate action against the named accused in the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 and to give police protection to the life and property to the petitioner and his family members against unlawful elements.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that during enquiry the petitioner himself made a submission to the respondent stating that he can approach the Civil Court seeking appropriate remedy. Hence the complaint given by the petitioner was closed, recording the same.

3.At this stage, the said prayer now sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If necessary, the petitioner can approach the respondent at later stage.
