This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to third Respondent to conduct further investigation in a fair manner in connection with the Crime no.481 of 2024 pending on the file the Adhirampattinam Police Station, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, he was arrayed as accused in this case. In fact, he is the victim in this case and the defacto complainant only dashed against the petitioner with rash and negligent driving. Per contra, the case was registered against the petitioner. Therefore, he sent the representation dated 12.01.2025 seeking to conduct proper investigation and since the CCTV footage is available with the petitioner, he produced the same to the investigation officer, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 2/5

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has not produced any CCTV footage before the investigation officer. If he produces the CCTV footage, the same will be considered and a fair investigation will be conducted.

4.This Court heard both sides and perused the records. On perusal it is seen that there are some allegations as against the investigation officer but no records to substantiate the contention. 5.Since the petitioner has some materials, it is for the petitioner to approach the third respondent by producing the relevant materials. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to appear before the investigation officer on 20.03.2025 along with relevant materials and produce the same before the investigation officer. On receipt of the same, the investigation officer is directed to consider the same and conduct a proper investigation in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
